Hello All,

Life is busy but it’s good! We had a lot of meetings this week. We drove down to Houston for Mission Leadership Council, interviews and training on Thursday, and Zone Meeting on Friday. Interviews went well. There are some new goals that I’ve set that will help me as I have this new calling and as I come to the final stages of my mission. A lot of what was talked about in my interview was about finding greater trust and confidence in the Lord. President Mortensen and I counseled about ways I could do that and there’s already been some results in this past week.

So… everything is just a blur. I know a lot of stuff happened this week but I can’t really remember any of it. Oh! we started teaching someone new in the CS2 ward. His name is Kenneth. The sisters were teaching him before they both went home and we met with him this past week. Our first lesson went ok. Then, our second lesson that we had with him this week we were able to help him understand more about the need of a Restoration and the role of the Book of Mormon. It was a really great lesson. He’s having a lot of challenges with his marriage and we are planning on talking about eternal families and God’s purpose for families here in the near future.

The Traditions YSA sisters had a baptism this past week and the zone is also doing really well. We don’t currently have any progressing investigators right now, but we will soon. I love serving here in College Station. It’s the best. Anyway, love you all! Have a great week! Talk to you on Sunday! Happy Mother’s Day Mom! You’re the best :)
