We had a good week here in College Station! Naveen is still doing well. He is scheduled to be baptized this Saturday! We’re stoked. We had two really great lessons on Saturday with investigators named Lei and Jeremy. They are both Chinese. We were really bold with them and were able to understand some of their concerns. Both lessons were powerful and they both accepted a baptismal date of May 9th, but then they didn’t come to church. Arggghh. So frustrating. haha.
In the College Station 2nd ward we have 1 investigator named Chris that is progressing. He’s 61 years old and he’s really smart! The lessons go really well and he feels the spirit. He knows what he needs to do and we’re doing our best to help him do it. He came to church yesterday and seemed to enjoy it. There’s also a family that was recently baptized in the 2nd ward and we are meeting with the husband, Paul, on Friday. He hasn’t been baptized but he’s been coming to church. We’re really excited about that.
College Station is such a cool city! It actually reminds me a lot of Provo. There’s a really cool feel here. I also really enjoy working with and going to institute, it’s the bomb! Anyway, I don’t have much more time, but I want you to know I’m doing great and love you all! Have a great week :)
-Elder Steed
This is one of our investigators named Lei. He's Chinese. The Elder on the right is the bishops son, he's home from Taiwan to get surgery on his wrists and the stake president didn't want to release him. He's been helping us out.
I have nightmares every night.
